PRAYER AND ECUMENICAL ACTIVITIES

Prayer Group
Everyone is invited to pray at 12 noon each Friday, for people and situations which are in need. Occasionally the group meets in the New Room at 11 am, and a small number meet to pray on a Sunday morning.
Anyone is welcome to drop in.

If there is someone who is in need of prayers, we have a prayer circle, so you can be assured that other people will be adding their prayers to yours.

For more about prayer, and for daily prayers, go to www.Sacredspace.ie or www.prayerguide.org.uk

St John’s is part of Churches Together in Whitstable, and members regularly join with other denomi-nations for acts of worship. The photos (left and right) show the 2011 Good Friday Procession of Witness behind the cross, through the harbour, sea front and streets of Whitstable. It was attended by over 300 people in beautiful weather.

Anglicans and Methodists from St Alphege Town Church and St John’s joined together for a Harvest Barn Dance. See photos
