What’s on - THURSDAY

The Day Centre (also known as the Thursday Club, or the Lunch Club)
10 am - 2.30 pm in the Epworth Room and Foyer.
There are 13 regular clients, and a large number of people who call regularly or occasionally for morning coffee (10.15 onwards) A team of drivers will collect people from their homes, and take them back at the end of the day.
The Comfy chairs in the Epworth Room are ideal for those who like to chat, read the papers and rest after a trip to the shops. A tasty hot lunch is prepared by outside caterers, and served by the helpers from the new kitchen, followed by a cup of tea or coffee.

The Worship Group, 7 - 8 pm, New Room
This is a group of singers, male and female, who meet to practice hymns and songs for services and concerts around the circuit and in other churches. In the past year they have sung Faure’s Requiem and Rutter’s Requiem (with singers from around the circuit), and performed the “Charles Wesley Hymnical”, by David Wright.
Diana is always happy to welcome more singers. Contact us for more details, or come along on a Thursday.

Combined Choir, 8 - 9.45, Church
Rehearsals for the December Carol Concerts.
Singers from the Circuit, and Canterbury Operatic.
